The plans from the architects were not up-to-date. I was hoping we could discuss locations before you set out and put them all in. I went through all the rooms now and set the locations.

Utility Room, garage and crawlspace

• The garage will not be remodeled at this point, we can reuse whatever is in there right now.
• The utility room will need bright light, something simple, we can discuss it once the room will be setup
• Can we easily put lights into the crawlspace? Similar to utility lights in attics?

First floor

• The family room (top left) should have 3 vertical lines (north/south). The right line should be centered above the stairs. The stairs will be 6’ 6 1/2”. Then a line centered in the room. And a third line on the left with the same distance to the wall. The bottom line (west/east) should be centered on the opening to the kitchen
• The library room (bottom left) remains the same.
• The lights at the bottom of the stairs and behind the main entry door remain the same
• We want to add two lights outside on the porch that mirror the two lights inside.
• Laundry room: two lights on the bottom left and right
• Stairs to Garage: two lights over the stairs.
• Patio: we want to add a lot of lights as our patio is north facing and dark. We want to brighten it up during the day.

Second Floor

• stairs: note the two additional lights
• west/east hallway: one light centered on door to loft room. Most right (east) light centered on doors to toilet and bedroom 3. Other lights centered on other lights.
• Balcony and Deck:
  • Wall-mounted lights, locations and types are to-be-done
  • I’m planning on adding LED strips integrated into the wall
